Hotel Brand: Holiday Inn
Location: Australia, Victoria, Melbourne
We like to lead from the front. So, we're looking for a Duty Manager to form part of the on-shift leadership team, ensuring our hotel always runs smoothly. You will oversee this busy airport hotel's front office operations, be the hotel champion for guest satisfaction, and ensure the safety and security of the hotel.
A little taste of your day-to-day: Leading the way – managing guest experiences, team performance, and front office operationsHaving authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries, or concernsPrioritising workload and ensuring your team delivers authentic, memorable experiences to our valued guestsDeveloping your team's skills to drive results that positively impact hotel performanceBeing the first point of contact for any critical emergency situations and taking the leadTo support your own development, you will be exposed to areas such as rostering, revenue initiatives, guest recognition, recruitment, and training.
What we need from you: 1 year minimum experience in a front desk/guest service leadership roleGuest satisfaction is at the core of everything you doExperience of leading a team as a Supervisor or Duty Manager and driving strong results in guest experience and enrolmentsAbility to problem-solve using your own experience, with the ultimate goal of a win-win situationExcellent communication and the ability to connect with guests and colleagues from all walks of lifeCurrent First Aid, CPR, and RSA certificates are requiredSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office products with previous knowledge of Opera highly desiredAbility to work across a 7-day roster including morning, afternoon, and evening shiftsFull working rights in Australia (sorry, sponsorship is not an option)What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
