Duty Manager - Remote Tasmania
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy venue located in remote Tasmania.
The successful candidate will have strong Food & Beverage experience and hold a current driver's license.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Hotel Manager, manage the activities within all areas of the venue and be responsible in their absence.
You will be required to manage the service within the property and ensure that customers are served promptly & courteously and that service of a 4 Star standard is consistently achieved and maintained, motivate & lead the departments to achieve this; to work as part of the wider management team to promote a positive image of the Hotel at all times.
This role requires a Long Term Commitment (Ideally two years plus).
Immediate Start Package / Salary Range:
$65,000 - $75,000 salary
Accommodation $150 per week
Shared self-contained apartment onsite
Duty Meals provided
Duties: Assist the Hotel Manager in managing the property on a day-to-day basis across all departmentsStock ordering, receipt, stocktaking, stock controlSupervision and training of staff, rosteringEnsuring standards set by management are met or exceededEnsuring the security of the property and its goods are maintainedDevelop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customersCash Handling / ReconciliationRSA / RSG complianceEnsure Health and Safety regulations are metUndertake other duties as required / directedCandidate Requirements: Candidates MUST have a current driver's licenseCandidates MUST have a current RSA and RSGPreference for candidates who have their own transportShortlisted candidates MUST be willing to do either a face-to-face interview if based in the area or a video call interviewCandidates MUST be willing to undergo anti-money laundering training and Keno training if successfulCandidates MUST have or be able to obtain a current police checkCandidates MUST be willing to work various shifts, including some split shiftsAdditional Information: Access via sealed roadsTelstra coverage onlyFree WIFI providedHow to Apply:
