LIONS@springwood is the official social club of the Brisbane Lions based in Springwood. Our venue offers over 200 state of the art gaming machines, TAB facilities, our Cage Bar with plenty of TVs for the sport fans, the 5th Quarter Restaurant with an incredible variety of meals to suit everyone and an enclosed kids area.
We are currently seeking two full-time Duty Managers. This role will form part of our Management team and help lead our staff in providing amazing customer service and incredible experiences to our members and guests.
Key duties include but are not limited to: Ensuring all areas of the Club are running as effectively and as cost-efficient as possible, without compromising customer satisfaction.Ensure the safety, security and comfort of all persons, patrons and staff on the premises.Assist in supervising staff engagement, motivation and management.Operation of (and head of one) all areas of the Club including bar, dining, gaming, TAB.Provide excellent customer service and guest experiences.Lead and supervise staff.Manage any customer complaints.Assist where required with rostering and timesheet processes.Skills & Experience: Certificate IV in Hospitality desired but not essential.Previous experience as a Duty Manager within a similar hospitality operation, however candidates without managerial experience who are ready to take the next step will still be considered.Current RSA, RSG, RMLV Qualification and Approved Managers License with a demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements.Excellent communicator and a collaborative team player.Solution-focused and ability to make decisions on the go.Passionate about providing high-level customer service and experiences.Outstanding personal presentation and grooming.Lead by example with high standards, great organization skills and ability to motivate those around you.High level computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office suite.Benefits: 2 x Brisbane Lions season memberships.Discounted on-site meals.Competitive remuneration.Learning and development opportunities.To apply, follow the seek links below and provide your current CV and cover letter (maximum 1 page).
