A near-perfect climate, ours is an extraordinary place to live and work all year round.We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Duty Manager to assist in the day to day running of the front office area with strong night audit experience.This role will involve:Hands-on front office operations, leading and supporting the reception team in daily dutiesWelcome and assist with all guest arrivals, departures and requestsPerforming the assigned opening or closing operations of the Hotel on a rotating roster across 7 days plus night audit reliefEnsuring excellence and consistency in customer service.Assisting with administration, rostering, training, and supervision of staff.Strong understanding of financial controlsActively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedbackThe successful applicant will possess:Previous 2 years of experience in a similar rolePrevious island resort experience a plusOpera PMS experience requiredGood knowledge of Hotel OperationsExperience in the supervision and motivation of team members.Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent personal presentation.This is a full-time live on island position.
