An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Sefton Council within the Duty & Assessment team. This is a full-time social worker position with an hourly rate of £40. The children's social worker will be required to assess risk and produce assessments of excellent quality. Working within the Duty and the Assessment team, the role will entail the following:Having extensive knowledge of relevant legislationsLiaising with other agenciesInitial statements for courtProviding children and family assessmentsCore assessments For this position, you will need to hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years of post-qualifying experience in a statutory child care setting to support your ability for this role.
