You will obtain first-class training and gain important language and project management experience, providing clear insight into all aspects of the world of professional translation.
The training will prove invaluable for your personal career development as a future project manager or freelance translator.Tasks:Documentation management of the documents that will be machine-translated.Apply suitable machine translation software to automatically translate client's documents.Post-edit the machine-translated texts in English, reviewing for any mistranslations and spelling errors.Requirements:Undergraduate in suitable disciplines such as Translation, Languages, or Literature.C2 proficiency in English.C2 proficiency in Dutch or Flemish.High literacy level to make corrections to the English texts.Well organized.IT proficient.Attention to detail is imperative.Full and comprehensive training will be provided.Benefits:The student will have an official work contract with McFelder during the placement period.Salary of 430€ (minus 2% Spanish tax, a legal requirement by Spanish Law).This vacancy may or may not be available or may be a sample of vacancies we have had.
