AAF have an exciting opportunity for an engineer dust collector department (IndustAQ) position to join our team based in Keysborough, Melbourne.
This "hands on" role reports to the AAF Power and Industrial manager and is responsible for ensuring delivery of projects, on budget and on time.
The successful candidate will have an engineering background in dust control. You will be highly organised, have well developed customer service skills and be looking for a long-term career in a company that prides itself in rewarding and developing its employees.
Key responsibilities include: Working with customers being the AAF point of contact for current dust collector projects Interpreting engineering drawings and standards Quality Control Working closely with AAF Spain IndustAQ department (Spanish language desirable) Logistics and project scheduling Liaise with suppliers, sourcing quotes, managing orders, and scheduling from local and international suppliers including AAF Spain, AAF Malaysia AAF USA and AAF UK Project management to ensure all projects run smoothly and on time Assisting with estimating and cost control AutoCAD drawing background preferred SAP knowledge, project ordering and some invoicing etc. Attending AAF International webinar and training session to expand and develop application and industry knowledge Commissioning of projects on mine sites following a high level of safety Site surveys To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the following areas: 5 years Engineering project experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study Dust collector background and willing to help in a varied role of project management. AutoCAD and design skills SAP ordering Be highly organized A sense of business acumen Highly motivated, keen to learn with strong customer-oriented ethic and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills High level understanding of or previous experience with the following products: Fans, HVAC, Dust collectors, filters or compressors BOSIET highly or interested in attending training to do offshore commissioning in the oil and gas industry Engineering background or previous experience technician and technically minded Project management experience or customer service experience, preferably in the air filtration/ industrial ventilation industry An understanding of or previous experience with the following products: Fans, HVAC, Dust collectors, filters or compressors If you are an outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication, AAF can offer you the platform to develop your career within a structured, professional, results driven and hard-working team environment.
