We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US. ResponsibilitiesPrepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints.Smooth out imperfections.Fill joints in-between panels with spackle.Press paper tape into compound.Smooth away excess material.Cover nail and screw depressions with spackle.Apply second and third coats of compound. Sand areas after each coat.Perform other related duties as assigned.Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of building as needed.Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air conditioning units, and plumbing as needed.EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)Drywall Finishing Experience (required)Preferred Skills and AbilitiesAbility to finish drywall.Excellent hand-eye coordination.Ability to work independently and with a work crew.Ability to use hand tools and power tools required for installing drywall.BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental)Retirement Plan (401k)Voluntary Insurance (Vision, Basic Life Insurance & AD&D)Paid Time OffVoluntary Short Term & Long Term DisabilityEmployee Stock Ownership Plan
