This position is funded as a CNS2 level.
If you have a post graduate qualification and at least 3 years' experience working in the sector, you are eligible to apply for the CNS2 grading.
If you do not meet the CNS2 criteria, you are still eligible to apply for this position as a Registered Nurse, but with a commitment to undertake the required post graduate qualifications within the next 3 years of being appointed to the position. The Role We're currently looking for a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist - Drug Court Program to support the following:
Assessment & management of Intoxication and withdrawal states. Assessment & management of patients requesting to commence on an Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) program or who are being maintained on an OST program whilst in custody. Substance Use and Pregnancy (SUP) program. Brief interventions including provision of harm minimisation strategies and related health education initiatives. Release care planning.
