There are approximately 160 staff based in the 4,000sqm facility today, scheduled to grow to approximately 300 staff by the end of 2026.
Overseas on-the-ground presence includes Virginia (USA), Denmark, Germany, and Dubai, as well as distributors in over 70 countries globally.About the roleThe company is seeking a Back End Software Developer with relevant experience to join the development team in Sydney.
The role is primarily focused on the development of DroneShield product DroneSentry-C2.Responsibilities, Duties and ExpectationsDesign and develop the current systems to increase functionality and usability.Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation, working closely with the software engineering team.Take operational responsibility for the services and code base that you will develop.Qualifications, Experience and SkillsBS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.Between 3 and 5 years' experience in software development.Experience working with at least one modern TypeScript framework; React is ideal.Experience working with two or more of the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.Experience building REST APIs with Golang.Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal.Previous 'start-up' or 'scale-up' experience is favourable.Familiarity with Docker, Postman, GitLab, and AWS is favourable.You are a lifelong learner, self-taught, and continuously learning, interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools.You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments.You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing.You're familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems.An abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with the big players in the industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
