We are seeking HR to MC driver trainers with the option of also training motorcycle & car.

Your previous experience in the trucking industry will be clearly evident in your CV, and you should be systematic and organized, matched with exceptional team interaction.
We require you to hold an Open Heavy vehicle licence or higher.
You will need to be fully accredited with the necessary certificates to train our clients or be able to sit the course that is required to obtain the certificates at your own cost.
This position is not limited to people who already obtain this accreditation.
We are looking for a long-term employee that will be able to fit in with our team.

Time management and prioritization along with high attention to detail is essential to this role as you are to provide our clients with the highest standard of training to obtain a successful pass rate.
You will need to have a clear understanding of the current road rules in Queensland and keep yourself informed of any updates/changes that are made during the duration of employment with our company.
The successful applicant will uphold discretion of the operations of our company at all times prior, during, and after employment ceases.
Training qualifications:
An applicant for driver trainer accreditation must demonstrate appropriate competencies to undertake the role by successfully completing the approved training course delivered by a Transport and Main Roads approved registered training organisation (RTO).
Heavy vehicle classes (to specified level):
TLI41222—Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (Specialisation group B – Heavy Vehicles) or TLISS00233—Heavy Vehicle Driver Training Skill Set.
TLI41222 must include one of the following competency units:
TLIC2002—Drive light rigid vehicle TLIC3003—Drive medium rigid vehicle TLIC3004—Drive heavy rigid vehicle TLIC3005—Drive heavy combination vehicle TLIC4006—Drive multi-combination vehicle.
This competency unit must be listed on the qualification issued by the RTO.
A driver trainer applicant wanting to deliver multi-combination class driver training must also hold and present a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

THE BUSINESS & ROLE:
Cec Judd is the founder and director of CQ Driver Training, which has been operating since 2000 as a family-run business in Rockhampton, Queensland.
Cec's qualifications include 44 years in the trucking industry and 53 years motorcycle experience.
He has obtained the following certificates of accreditation: Certificate IV (motorcycle), Certificate II in Transport & Distribution (Road Transport), Certificate III in Transport & Distribution (Road Transport), Certificate III in Road Transport (Motor Vehicle Driving Instruction), and TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
The organisation chart is flat with 5 staff comprising of a Receptionist, 2 truck instructors, and 2 QRide trainers.
With the demand in the field of work that our company is able to source, we would like to expand our staff in order to be able to meet the demands of this growing industry.
You will be playing a vital part in the continued growth and smooth running of this team with your role, involving but not limited to: Professional delivery of training with students for heavy vehicles in accordance with the "Code of Conduct" Delivery of MC courses Re-booking students at the end of lessons & advising office at time of booking to avoid double bookings or advise office to contact student if unable to make another date at the time.
Maintaining effective communications between students, yourself, and administration Contacting office at end of lessons to make credit card payments if required Advising office to arrange test booking for student prior to student being ready to sit so they are not left waiting a long period of time for booking.
Working within a close-knit team and playing an integral part in the smooth running of the business, your hard work will be appreciated and rewarded.
The role is full time, and the applicant needs to be available to work from Monday to Saturday between 6 am – 6 pm, with an exception that on occasions Sunday work may also be required.
