Apex Driving School has been teaching driver education throughout Canberra for over 40 years and has been voted one of Canberra's best driving schools. As a driving instructor working for Apex, you will be responsible for instructing and assessing learner drivers and people preparing for an ACT Government driver's test. As a sub-contractor you'll self-manage all financial responsibilities.

Valid unrestricted ADI registrationValid unrestricted WWVP cardCurrent police checkHave no criminal or traffic related convictionsFluent in English with clear communication skillsClean driving record for a minimum of three yearsIn addition to the above, highly regarded applications will:
Have 12+ months experience as a driving instructor (preferred)Have own vehicle, fitted with dual controls (preferred)Have strong understanding and adherence to ACT and National road rulesShow compassion, calmness and encouragement to all studentsHave clear communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of individualsHave excellent time management skills and strong work ethicBe well presented and keep the vehicle in excellent conditionBe prepared to upskill to remain up to date with all accreditation requirements
