Casual/Vacation Border Express currently has several exciting opportunities available for experienced and motivated MR or HR Drivers to join the team at our Gold Coast Branch. As a Driver, you will be the face of Border Express, and it is therefore essential that you possess fantastic customer service and communication skills as well as a high level of presentation.
Duties:Ensure paperwork is matched against freight to ensure that correct freight is on the vehicle for delivery;Plan and monitor all freight movements for effective utilisation to meet the operations time schedule;Ensure PDA's are used correctly and only for their intended purpose;Ensure all pallet paperwork and Dangerous Goods paperwork is checked and completed accurately;Ensure when loading/unloading freight that all scannable freight is scanned and accurate.Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years' experience in the Transport industry;Excellent Driver History Report;Great local knowledge of Gold Coast and surrounding areas;Ability to work unsupervised;A current minimum MR licence is essential for this position;Current Police Check.Get to know Border Express: At Border Express, we're committed 100% to providing the very best supply chain services for Australia.
