As a Dubbo applicant, you will need to be willing to travel from Dubbo to Orange, and vice versa, to commence your shift as there is no capacity to park the truck up elsewhere overnight.
A typical HC shift could include runs from Orange to Sydney or Orange to Griffith return. Starting and finishing the shifts out of the Orange depot.
Many of these runs could (or will/may) include overnights, and all will include some weekend work on a rostered system. We ask that applicants please consider this before applying.
Your responsibilities: Liaising with customers with a friendly and professional attitudeUnderstanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint GuidelinesCompletion of all paperwork on time and in fullDriving in a time-sensitive environmentRefueling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipmentPromptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delaysYour skills and experience: HC licence minimum (experience is essential)Heavy vehicle driving experience is essentialMinimum of 12 months good driving recordThe successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check, national crime check and have the right to work in Australia.
