Driver/Warehouse Storeman

Our client is a national floorcovering wholesale distribution company servicing Australia for over 55 years. It prides itself in customer satisfaction by offering world class products delivered by their dedicated team.
 
This is a full-time opportunity at their Darwin facility. Working as part of a small dedicated team you will be involved in the delivery of customers' orders and when not out and about you will be assisting in the Darwin warehouse.
This position will suit a person who likes variety. Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
Truck Driver Responsibilities: 80% Daily inspection of vehicle, including scheduling planned servicesThe organising and planning of delivery runs to ensure efficient deliveryEnsuring the correct paperwork is completedThe safe and correct loading of truckThe delivery of goods to customersStoreperson Responsibilities (when not performing deliveries) 20% the loading and unloading of stockStoring of stock in correct locationsOperation of forkliftGeneral maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensuring warehouse areas are cleanAssisting at front counter when requiredTo be considered for this position you will meet the following criteria: MR License or higher and proven experience in driving a truckHave a current forklift licenseExcellent organisational skillsA good phone mannerGood computer skillsExperience in the flooring industry will be looked upon favourably but not essential
