What you'll do: You'll play a vital role as Driver Trainer at Visy Logistics leading in-depth training, safety, and compliance assessments while ensuring consistent processes and training methods are implemented across Queensland.

Conduct driving assessments annually to meet Visy standards and identify training needsCreate and deliver training programs for drivers based on Visy Logistics' standardsAccurately record all training and assessments in the Learning Management SystemContinuously assess driver skills, including CoR awareness, and provide training, monitoring, and supportManage training schedules, including refresher training sessionsPromote safe practices for vehicles, equipment, and work systemsSupport the operations team with incident investigationsCollaborate with teams such as Logistics Management, Fleet Controllers, Operations, Compliance, and RecruitmentHandle general administrative tasks like data entry, compliance reporting, and maintaining system accuracy To be considered you must have: Certificate IV Trainer and AssessorCompletion of TLIF0005 & TLIF0006 Fatigue ManagementCurrent Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence – MC with considerable experience in driving operationsIn depth knowledge of Road Rules, heavy vehicle national law requirements for drivers and Chain of ResponsibilityStrong commitment and understanding of OH&S legislationProficiency in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and experience with safety management systemsExcellent communication skills: Written, verbal, reporting & presentationsA calm and patient approach with the ability to work under pressure What you will love: Shape the future: Train, mentor, and develop drivers to meet safety and operational standardsTravel and variety: Enjoy a dynamic role visiting multiple sites across Queensland, ensuring no two days are the sameJoin an industry leader: Be part of Visy Logistics' growth story and contribute to an innovative and diverse workplace You will be required to meet Visy's employment criteria which will include a criminal history check and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).
