Mercy Food Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a casual Stores Person / Driver to join the team.
In this role, you will work primarily as a Store Person, and we expect that you will act in the role of Driver once a week. You'll deliver to external venues and Mater Hospitals between Mackay and Bundaberg and into Emerald. As the Store Person, you will be responsible for deliveries to Mercy Food Services and support tasks which shall assist in providing high quality hygiene and cleaning assistance.
Receive goods delivered to Mercy Food Services in accordance with the Food Safety Plan, and complete Food Safety Documentation as requiredAdvise the Food Services Administration Assistant that are not complete or products requiring returnEnsure that all products delivered are stored in accordance with the Food Safety PlanComplete general cleaning tasks to assist in maintaining a clean environment as requiredPerform washroom duties as required ensuring all dishes, pot/pans etc. are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to usePerform Kitchen Hand duties as requiredAs the Driver, you will:
Check and complete all documentation relating to dispatch and good delivery as per the Food Safety PlanEnsure products are complete and ready on the transport trolleys as per dispatch sheetsEnsure all food product is delivered to clients as per the delivery scheduleComplete vehicle checks and documentation related to MFS vehicles as per the Food Safety PlanAdvise the Food Services Manager when regular scheduled services are due for MFS VehiclesEnsure Mercy Food Service Equipment is returned in a sound conditionCheck vehicle refrigeration temperatures and monitor during journeyClean vehicles as per the weekly cleaning programAbout you To be successful in your application, you will have:
