Job Description: Reporting to the Drilling Superintendent, this role will be responsible for coordinating operational surface drilling activities at Moranbah North Mine. Your management, implementation and execution of short and medium term plans will be essential to ensure safe drilling operations. This includes but is not limited to coordinating, optimizing and reporting on: Drilling Water carting Waste removal Site preparations Casing and consumables Borehole rehabilitation Your ability to drive best practice and understand the functionality of business systems and extract relevant data for business purposes will be key to your success in the position. You will also support the team through financial reporting, cost analysis, and business planning input. Qualifications: Certificate IV or Diploma level qualifications in drilling operations, well servicing operations, and drilling oil and gas (onshore) with three to five years of experience with gas extraction. Skills Required: SAP, AutoCAD experience essential AcQuire Database preferred MS Excel, Project, Word experience and intermediate to advanced skills essential Project scheduling skills are essential Experience: Demonstrated experience within Drilling or Well intervention operations Demonstrated experience leading a team of professionals to deliver against targets Experience in driving best practice through your department and into the business. This includes the development and implementation of strategy in line with business goals Track record in driving continuous improvement Experience in development and control of departmental budget and expenditure #J-18808-Ljbffr
