The Role: Drilling Coach/Trainer
As a Drilling Coach/Trainer at Mannion Drilling, you'll be at the forefront of developing the next generation of expert drillers while enhancing our existing team's skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives on sharing knowledge, building confidence, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
Mentor & Train: Provide hands-on training and development to new recruits and experienced staff, ensuring all team members meet our high safety and operational excellence standards.
Tailored Drilling Programs: Design, implement, and continuously improve training programs that address all aspects of drilling operations—from technical skills to best safety practices.
On-the-Job Coaching: Guide staff through real-time drilling processes, offering constructive feedback and ensuring optimal performance in the field.
Monitor and Evaluate: Assess employees' competency and progress, providing recommendations for further training or role progression.
Promote a Safety-First Culture: Instil a commitment to safety and environmental awareness in every team member and maintain our industry-leading safety records.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, ensuring that training reflects the latest developments and technologies in drilling techniques.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking an experienced professional with a passion for drilling and a talent for teaching.
You'll have a deep understanding of drilling operations and a proven track record of fostering high-performing teams.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
Extensive Drilling Experience: Significant hands-on experience in drilling, with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of exploration and water drilling.
Leadership & Mentoring Skills: A natural leader with the ability to inspire and develop others, sharing your knowledge and expertise with patience and clarity.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical information in a clear, accessible way.
Commitment to Safety: A safety-first mindset with experience leading safe operations in the field.
Adaptability: Ability to train both new starters and seasoned staff, customising coaching techniques to individual learning styles and needs.
Qualifications: Certifications in Drilling, Safety, and Training.
Practical experience: 5 years of experience and expertise are key.
