Your next opportunity Boral's is seeking an experienced driller to be work out of our Quarries at various sites within Melbourne. These sites include – Bacchus Marsh, Coldstream, Deer Park, Dunnstown, Lysterfield and Montrose.
Reporting to the Drilling Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the required drilling is conducted in a safe and accurate manner for preparation of the blasts. The Driller is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment to achieve daily production targets, as well as assisting in drill maintenance activities to ensure a high level of reliability and performance.
Your day will involve: The safe and efficient operation of the drill rigs onsite according to operational manuals and established procedures. Liaising closely with the Quarry Supervisor to meet the requirements of the daily drill plan Liaising with Drill & Blast Team to coordinate and optimize drill utilization within metro quarry network. Accurately documenting details of drilled holes Accounting for drill utilization and productivity performance of working shift Coordinate scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities. High level of accountability and ownership. What Are We Looking For?
