With over 30 years of combined experience in the exploration and mining drilling divisions, they are dedicated to promoting self-management, self-sufficiency, and economic independence.Your new roleThe Driller Trainer is tasked with training drillers on safety protocols, equipment usage, and best practices in drilling techniques. This vital role ensures the efficiency and safety of all drilling operations.Create and conduct training sessions for drillers on safety procedures and regulatory compliance.Provide instruction on the correct use and upkeep of equipment.Identify training needs and design tailored training programs.Track and assess trainee progress, offering constructive feedback.Keep up to date with industry trends and the latest drilling techniques.What you'll need to succeed:Previous experience as a driller & trainer assessor in the mining industry.Cert IV Trainer and Assessor certificate.Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 - desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously and within a team.Ideally living locally in the Mackay Region.What you'll get in returnIf you're successful in this position, you will be offered a direct full-time position with our client.
