The Role Murchison Blasting Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Drill Supervisor for our Pilbara based Pilgangoora Operation. Reporting to the Drill Coordinator, the role will be offered on a 2/2 roster. With 22 drills currently on site, the role offers a premier opportunity to showcase your leadership in terms of Safety, Production, Commercial and Client Relationships Responsibilities Establish and drive a high standard of safety performance across the project. Demonstrate a visible commitment to zero harm. Maintain and promote team cohesion with internal and external stakeholders. Provide leadership and direction to a large team of drill operators and support staff. Maximise drill & blast utilisation by maintaining effective systems of work and managing delays and crew movements. Monitor operations to ensure drills are being used effectively and with due care. Provide coaching and training to personnel to help them improve techniques and time management. Work with site Engineering and Survey departments to ensure patterns and blast plans are ready to be drilled and loaded with minimal delay time. Essential skills and experience Extensive experience in drill operations in an open cut environment. Previous experience in a supervisory role The ability to work autonomously and work well under pressure Time management skills and ability to identify priorities based on business need, accomplish objectives effectively, in a timely manner Ability to build valuable relationships with internal and external stakeholders High level of computer literacy and competence (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint) If you would like to submit your expression of interest for this role, please submit your resume outlining your skills and experience along with two current references.
