Tasks ASP Contracting Australia is seeking to sponsor an experienced Mechanic/Fitter who is specialized in drill/piling rigs and mobile plant/equipment, specifically Bauer RTG16 and RTG20, Soilmec SF-65, ABI 12/15 and ABI 13/16.
This is a sponsorship opportunity for the right candidate, to be offered upon verification of experience and meeting the Department of Home Affairs requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Test, diagnose, repair Drill/Piling Rigs, Excavators, Forklifts, anchoring rigs, mobile cranes. Systems worked on include hydraulic, pneumatic, engine and transmission, and electrical. Perform routine maintenance, disassemble and reassemble machine components. Thorough and meticulous completion of all maintenance records and documentation. Requirements Candidate Requirements: Certificate III in Diesel Fitting or equivalent and valid Australian skills assessment. Valid English certification (IELTS, PTE). At least 5 years post-qualification proven experience with maintenance of plant and equipment, including but not limited to Bauer RTG16 and RTG20 Drill/Piling Rigs, Excavators, Forklifts, anchoring rigs, mobile cranes. Extensive experience with diagnostics and fault finding. Excellent understanding of electrical systems. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Fluent English skills; communication and understanding are essential for the role. Regular access to a car will be essential as there is no public transport available near our facilities.
