Drill Operations Coordinator

About the RoleTerra Mining Pty is seeking an experienced Drill Coordinator to join our dynamic drill and blast team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for optimizing drilling efficiency and ensuring safe drilling operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrilling Operations Management: Manage drilling crews, including contractors, to ensure efficient and safe drilling operations.Performance Monitoring: Monitor drill performance against weekly plans, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact deadlines.Reporting and Communication: Report any problems encountered during drilling operations to the relevant parties for resolution, and liaise with drill fitters and drillers to ensure equipment is functioning properly.Training and Development: Oversee drilling operations, including training new employees and monitoring performance to ensure high standards are maintained.Supply Chain Management: Manage drill consumables to maximize utilization and minimize waste.RequirementsMinimum of five years' experience in a Driller role on open pit, hard rock mining projects.Demonstrated ability to work safely within a team environment.Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.High level of communication, organizational, and planning skills.Intermediate level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.Current C Class driver's license (HR license preferred, but not essential).A positive CAN-DO attitude.Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug and alcohol testing.Must have the right to work in Australia.Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months.About UsTerra Mining Pty is a rapidly growing company in the mining and resources sector.
