About the roleOur client, a leading Gold Miner, based in the Goldfields is seeking experienced DRILL FITTERS for permanent roles.
We are looking for individuals who thrive in small teams, can work independently, and think creatively to find practical solutions.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Perform maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown attendance for drill rigs, including UDR1000, Hydco350 Austex 350, and T45 rigs.Troubleshoot and complete servicing to ensure rigs are in good working order before each shift.Primarily work out of the Mobile Maintenance workshop.Attend drill sites to check and monitor rigs.Assist with any breakdowns or concerns at the drill sites.All sites are located on company tenements and pits, within approximately 40 km from the workshop and site.Following safe work practices in accordance with legislation and company policies.Completing inspection procedure checklists.Skills and Qualifications Required:Australian-recognized Trade Certificate in Engineering Mechanical Fitting or HD Mechanics.Current Australian manual driver's license.Full working rights in Australia.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.Proven experience in a similar role working on drill rigs in the mining or related industry.Own set of tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated commitment to safety.Current National Police Clearance.EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification (desirable).What to Expect2:1 Roster (DS & NS)FIFO from PerthDIDO from KalgoorlieCompetitive salaryFull time OpportunityBenefits10% Bonus SchemeAccess to Employee DiscountsPrivately Owned – Family CompanyIf you feel like this is the right role for you, please reach out to our team at Bridge for more information - 1300 274 343 or send your updated CV to ******
