The Role Ventia are currently seeking to engage a Drill Rig Fitter to join our Rig & Wells team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will see you based in the field performing preventative and reactive maintenance to equipment associated with our minerals sector. You will also work alongside other field staff and management to ensure seamless operation of the fleet.
This is a full-time permanent role working 12-hour days on a 2:2 roster with flights provided from your closest capital city.
$65.00 to $82.60 per hour (flat) depending on experienceOngoing career development and opportunitiesBe part of a company that cares about its people with great team culture and a proud historyTrue work-life balance with the ability to relax and focus on your loved ones and hobbies in your time offKey duties, but not limited to: Servicing and repairs on Drill Rigs, Trucks, Compressors, and Light VehiclesAccurately maintain records of works completedDiagnostics and fault finding activitiesBreakdown supportRequirements: Driver's License (MR minimum) – HR or greater is highly regardedTrade Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Diesel FittingStrong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and be a team playerThe proven ability to fault find and troubleshoot under pressurePrevious experience working in the drilling industry – Highly regardedFire Suppression, Airconditioning, Telehandler, and Backhoe tickets – All highly regardedThe Company Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
