Drill Fitter

We are currently recruiting for a Drill Fitter to join our leading Drill and Blast Client at sites across the Pilbara and Goldfields!
Guma-Warnii Resources is a Pilbara Aboriginal Business that works in Mining, Civil and Construction Industries. We are looking for an experienced Drill Fitter to join our leading Drill and Blast Client, on a 2/2 or 2/1 roster. Site locations across the Pilbara and Goldfields.
Responsibilities:Performing required scheduled maintenance and servicing on the Reverse Circulation Exploration Drill Rigs.Repairing RC rigs that have broken down.Performing all facets of Drill Fitting including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical fault finding and diagnostics as well as repairs.The main rig brands will be Schramm, Atlas Copco, Explorac, and Rotomec RC rigs.Must have Requirements:Exposure to Schramm, Atlas Copco, Explorac, and Rotomec RC rigs.Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical fault finding, plus diagnostics experience.Experience in a similar role within the Mining Industry.Australian recognised Trade Certificate.Current HR Driver's Licence.First Aid Certificate.Working at Heights.Clean National Police Clearance.Able to pass a comprehensive mine site medical.Be physically fit to work in diverse weather conditions.On Offer:2/2 or 2/1 Roster Options.Excellent pay rate of $83 per hour.Superannuation on all hours worked.12 hour days.Employee Assistance Programs.Applicants can only be considered from Perth or close surrounds for flights from Perth.
