Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Drill Crew Operator to join our team in South East Queensland. As a Drill Crew Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment, including the Vermeer's D20x22 and/or 40/55DR drill, and tracking with Digitrak Falcon F5+, Vemeer's 36/50 and/or DitchWitch AT30/20 systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesRead and decipher DBYD plans to manually pothole, locate and expose all services and complete construction paperwork such as pre starts, dig permits and borelogs.Set up the drill, plan bore paths, mix drilling mud for optimum soil conditions, and operate a vacuum truck if required.Complete link ups/pit upgrades if and when required.General maintenance of drill including ensuring all tools are charged and ready to go.Physically fit and capable of manual tasks.Must have rights to work in Australia.RequirementsClean police check within the last 6 monthsWhite cardHR Truck Licence (minimum)NBN EnableDesirable QualificationsImplement Traffic ManagementFirst AidCPRIdentify Locate & Protect Underground AssetsPit & PipeVentia inductedBenefits and PerksCompany vehicle with Fuel Card for team leadsTools of tradeCompany Phone, Ipad and laptop if requiredPaid above awardWeekly payroll processingWhat We OfferFlexible hours available1 year of relevant work experience required for this roleWorking rights required for this roleExpected salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
