About the Role
As a Drill and Blast Engineer, you will:
Develop, plan, and execute drill and blast designs to optimise production and ensure compliance with safety standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient resource utilization and seamless integration of activities.Monitor and analyse operational data to enhance performance and deliver cost-effective solutions.Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. What We're Looking For A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.Proven experience in drill and blast operations within the mining sector, ideally open-pit coal.Proficiency in blast design software and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
