Join us at Master Cabinets and contribute to creating beautiful, functional spaces that enhance our clients' homes.Role Description:As a Draughtsperson at Master Cabinets, you will play a pivotal role in transforming design concepts into precise 3D and technical drawings using Cabinet Vision software package. This role will entail working closely with the Principal Project Manager & Draughting Team Lead, Estimator, and in-house Design Consultant to transform feedback from our customers, designers, and fabricators into initial concept designs and shop drawings for production. The Draughtsperson will utilise Cabinet Vision software to accurately communicate designs for distribution to customers and fabricators, as well as to inform project costing throughout the quoting phase.As Draughtsperson, you will work in our architecturally designed showroom and factory complex centrally located in Bundaberg, fitted with state-of-the-art Biesse equipment including the latest in CNC and digital panel saw technologies.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications.Prepare and revise drawings as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.Coordinate with production staff/cabinetmakers to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.Maintain organized documentation of all designs, revisions, and project specifications.Proactively keep knowledge base up to date around industry trends, materials, and best practices in cabinetry design.To be successful in this role you will have:2+ years of experience in the cabinet making industry and possess a good understanding of cabinetry design principles and construction methods.Proficiency in 3D draughting in CAD software.
