About you: We're looking for a highly motivated Meat Facility Operations Manager who wants to be part of a business that is creating a legacy by adding value and continuous improvement to the business for years to come.
Providing overall strategic operational leadership of the meat facility, you'll have the opportunity to shape the facility where our pace is fast, so you'll have adaptability to thrive in a rapidly developing environment.
About the opportunity :
Oversee and ultimately, ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all Meat Centre processes are running smoothly and promptly. Develop and mentor facility team members promoting and driving culture and awareness based on people and food safety.
Key Responsibilities: Overall management of the facilities meat production and delivery activities to exceed targets Identifying areas of opportunity that will enable improved productivity, including product development, equipment utilisation, labour modelling and plant/equipment operations Facilitate, lead and/or participate in continuous improvement projects across the business Mentor and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Inventory control of stock forecasting & ordering to meet promotional and store requirements Actively lead and maintain safety and regulatory compliance for the site Skills and experience required for the role: Minimum 5 years running a meat production facility or an equivalent role within the same or similar industry.
