Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drainage systems and be adept at working with various tools and equipment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining drainage solutions that ensure effective water management in both commercial and residential settings.
Duties Able to use a jetter and unblock various drainage systems.Assemble and install drainage components using hand tools and power tools.Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing drainage conditions and recommend improvements.Collaborate with other engineers and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.Perform routine maintenance on drainage systems, including cleaning and repairing as necessary.Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to drainage systems.Engage in heavy lifting tasks when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.Some knowledge in re-lining is an advantage.Skills Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for assembly and installation tasks.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb effectively.Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials to job sites.Capable of heavy lifting, demonstrating physical fitness for demanding tasks.This position offers an exciting opportunity for those looking to advance their career in engineering while contributing to vital infrastructure projects.
