What you'll be doing The Aboriginal Caseload Midwife is responsible for the provision of evidence based and woman centred maternity care to Aboriginal women, women having an Aboriginal baby, and their partners and families through a caseload model of care. Families will be residing in the Blacktown Hospital catchment area. The Aboriginal caseload midwife will work in partnership with Aboriginal Health Services staff and with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical, cultural, educational and psychological support as well as enhancing the seamless transition to child and family health services and to other agencies as required.
