Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsperson with GIS Capabilities to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing 3D visualisations and supporting renewable energy projects through a blend of office-based and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 3D visualisations for landscape architectural projects, with a focus on renewable energy initiatives such as wind farms, solar farms, and other sustainable developments.
Conduct fieldwork to gather spatial and topographical data and integrate this data into project designs and visualisations.
Utilise GIS software to analyse and interpret spatial data, applying it to project designs and visual simulations.
Collaborate with landscape architects and project managers to develop detailed drawings, plans, and visual representations.
Support the preparation of technical documents, reports, and presentations.
Ensure all visual and technical outputs meet project requirements, deadlines, and industry standards.
Assist in the development of site layouts, topographical analysis, and other spatial data for renewable energy projects.
Key Requirements:
Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and 3D visualisation tools (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent).
Strong GIS skills, including experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or other spatial analysis software.
Willingness to spend time out in the field, gathering data and conducting site assessments.
Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably within the renewable energy or landscape architecture sectors.
Ability to interpret and analyse spatial data, topography, and other geographical information to inform design decisions.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Previous experience working on renewable energy projects, such as wind or solar farms.
Familiarity with environmental assessments and regulatory requirements related to landscape and energy projects.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental stewardship in landscape architecture.
