Do you have experience in residential housing industry We are a family owned volume builder with operations in SA, VIC, NSW/ACT & QL Primary Purpose: The purpose of this role is to: Undertake the Drafting requirements in support of Regional Operations.
Key Job Accountabilities Production of drawings including site plans, floor plans, elevations, internal elevations, details and sections, shadow and overlooking diagrams.
Carry out variations to existing drawings Quality control to ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect customer contractual documents, regulatory requirements and Burbank standards within agreed time frames Provide drawings and documentation to different levels of detail to suit the required stage of the plans process Provide drawings and documentation for tenders, masters, contracts, council lodgements and site purposes.
Identify cost effective and build-able solutions to all designs.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations and design guidelines.
Key Job Competencies Apply technical skills and knowledge to achieve set objectives Perform a range of tasks in accordance with established guidelines and under general supervision Resolve problems through interpretation and application of established guidelines Organize own work to achieve required outcomes Provide sound technical advice and information to the public and colleagues, within established guidelines Provide guidance and assist with the development of less experienced employees    Typical Qualifications and/or Personal Qualities Diploma of Drafting, Design or related qualification Demonstrated experience and success in drafting, preferably with a volume building environment Demonstrated proficiency in ArchiCAD and the ability to adapt to other program Demonstrate knowledge of NCC Building Regulations and Australian standards in residential construction Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skills Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills Broad understanding of the construction process, terminology and documentation
