Draftsman Or Industrial Designer

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman or Industrial Designer to join our team at THORBURN AND SON PTY LTD in Morisset, NSW. This is a part-time to full-time role, offering flexibility and work-life balance. In this position, you will play a key part in the engineering and design processes, contributing to the overall success of our company.What you'll be doingPreparing detailed engineering drawings and designs for a range of industrial products and machinery.Ensuring all drawings and designs adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations.Providing technical support and advice to internal stakeholders.Continuously improving and optimising design processes and solutions.What we're looking forFormal qualifications in Drafting, Industrial Design or a related engineering discipline.Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.Proficiency in using SolidWorks with the sheet metal component.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.What we offerFlexible work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.Must be able to work at our Morisset premises.A supportive and collaborative work environment.About usTHORBURN AND SON PTY LTD is a small family-owned leading engineering and manufacturing company with a proud history spanning over 50 years.
