Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionAll Metal Solutions is seeking an experienced, dedicated and qualified full-time Draftsman to join their dynamic team. Job Overview: Action Work Requests from estimators, includes gathering drawings and specifications, calculating material, and supplying detailed drawing to aid in manufacture.Liaise with estimators & clients to gain job requirements. Assist with quoting and site installation. Providing detailed drafting and design with computer-aided design (CAD) / Solid works software.Mechanical ability and an aptitude for drawing and detail work are important attributes for this position. This role plays a vital part in quality improvement, problem-solving and assisting workshop production.Key Duties:Action drawing requests from estimatorsProvide detailed drawings to aid in the manufactureLiaise with estimators and clients to obtain job requirementsProduction of concept designsMaintain a safe working environmentQuality Responsibilities:Ensuring all drawings and designs are to Australian standardsSafety Responsibilities:Always abide by all company Safety Regulations, and report any personnel not complying with these regulations to ManagementQualifications & Experience:Cert IV in computer draftingAuto CADExperience in the use of the Solid works drawing packageExperience in the Steel Fabrication Industry would be an advantageA remuneration package between $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
