Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:Leading and Managing our Drafting Team by overseeing daily operations of the drafting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality, accurate work.Ensuring Quality and Compliance by reviewing and approving drawings to meet internal and industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.Collaborating with the Operations and Building Managers to plan and prioritise drafting tasks, ensuring timely delivery of drawings.Identifying and implementing improvements in drafting processes and promoting best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.Acting as the primary point of contact for drafting-related inquiries, facilitating communication with engineers and other team members.We will provide you:Ongoing training and development from learn and lunch sessions to external training programs.A work from home day each week.Diversity within your role where no two days are the same and opportunity for cross department learnings and collaboration are encouraged.Wellness initiatives including a 24/7 Confidential Employment Assistance Program, yoga and massage.Exclusive access to discounted rates on our builds as well as supplier discounts.Why work with us?Because we're all about balance.

To be the successful candidate you will have:Proven ability to lead, mentor, inspire and coordinate a drafting team, ensuring high-quality work and productivity while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.Proficiency in CAD and ArchiCAD software, with the ability to lead by example, providing training and offer construction feedback to support continuous development.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams adjusting to project needs and ensuring deadlines are met.Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.A commitment to active listening, always seeking to understand and support the team.
