We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to work with our Airports and Specialised Pavements business initially supporting the Hobart Airport Upgrade project and then moving into working on a portfolio of projects across the country. This role will require national travel and can be based out of any location along the east coast of Australia.
KEY TASKS Support the commercial team in the administration of the head contract subcontractors/suppliers including variations and EOT claims. Support the project team with procurement as required. Coordinate the review, approval and processing for payment of subcontract and supply claims. Co-ordinate overall management of controlled documents for the project. Assist the Commercial team in compiling monthly client and internal reporting packs as required ABOUT YOU A minimum of 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years' demonstrable experience in a contracts role on a project. Ability to contribute to the preparation of contract claims and financial information. Ability to interpret and apply contract terms and legislation provisions. An understanding of document control processes and systems. Working knowledge of typical construction contracts. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
