Mining - Drill & Blast (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full time360 Drilling Pty Ltd - Underground ITH Specialists (In The Hole Hammer Drills) is a locally owned and operated company located in West Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.360 Drilling supplies In the hole hammer drilling and drill hole steel lining services to the mining industry throughout Australia.The role requires employees to work on local and FIFO/DIDO mine sites in W.A. and interstate, reporting to the Operations Manager.Job tasks and responsibilitiesOperation of Cubex drill rigs and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner (Compressors, Boosters, Telehandlers).Must work and act safely.Completion of drill holes to design.Completion of hole lining activities installing steel casing.Diagnosing and repair of faults on all equipment.Liaise with client representatives.Supervision of drill offsiders and sub-contracting personnel.Ordering and maintenance of drilling consumables and parts.Participate in the development/review process of safe work procedures.Completion of daily drill plods, pre-start inspections, JSA's and WPI's.OffsidersAssisting the Driller in all related drilling and steel lining activities.Completion of pre-start inspections, JSA's and WPI's.Monitor fuel and oil levels.Maintaining drill sites in a clean, tidy and safe manner.Maintain work equipment and vehicles to a high standard.Operation of light vehicles in and around underground mines.Skills and experiencePrevious experience operating down hole hammer drill rigs highly regarded.Must work and act safely.Drill offsiders with minimal experience may be considered if you have a laboring background.Able to diagnose equipment faults efficiently.Able to work with minimal supervision.Good organisational skills.Able to work as part of a team.Must be physically fit.Willing to work on remote mine sites for periods of 2 weeks at a time.LocationMust reside in Western Australia or be willing to relocate.
