In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to lounge patrons and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment.
As a part-time doorman/porter, you will assist with greeting guests, managing access control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operation of the lounge.
Job Description
To meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart the First Class Lounges.Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges with an understanding of boarding passes.Repetitive heavy lifting of passenger luggage.Ensure guests are dressed to an appropriate standard in the lounges.Hand over to other departments VIPs checking and any additional relevant information or requests to ensure a smooth customer experience.Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests and answer any questions, including applicable flight information.Occasional assistance with Qantas Hosts/F&B Departments.Ensure, apply, and respect grooming, performance, and conduct standards at all times.Regular checks of the foyer, cleaning of curbside (if required), and ensure the Premium Check-in Suite is kept presentable at all times.Assist with any additional duties required by management/Qantas.Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
