Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, you will:

Carry out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment Cleaning residents' rooms including ensuites, furniture and equipment, as appropriate, and communal and administrative areas Ensure common living areas, hallways and all other areas of the facility (including front entrance courtyards, verandas) are maintained in a clean and tidy and safe condition Ensure the safe storage, security and labelling of appropriate cleaning materials in line with the MSDS, and in consultation with the Residential Services Manager, while being aware of the environmental requirements of cleaning products and their disposal Replenishing cleaning liquids and materials whilst observing safety procedures Report stock shortages, breakages, building, equipment or furnishing defects promptly to the Residential Services Manager This opportunity is perfect for people who are looking for casual work during the week and on weekends.

About you Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers; patience; common sense and an understanding of client service.
