Hours: Flexible, applicants must be available across a range of different shift patterns + weekends
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Lyndoch Living facility as a Domestic Services Assistant. This key role involves assisting in supporting cleaning duties to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents and clients.

The opportunity:
As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will:
Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules.Mop, vacuum, and polish floors, shampoo carpets, damp dust, manage waste, and restock supplies.Assist with laundry practices as required.Maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.Safely store and use cleaning agents, ensuring correct cleaning agents are used in appropriate quantities for each task.Participate in the infection control program.Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties, ensuring equipment does not obstruct exits and passageways.Perform any other task not defined but within the employee's skills, as directed by the organisation.To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry. Training or experience in cleaning.Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.Experience in residential aged care.Laundry experience is desirable.What we look for in you: Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and managers while respecting and appreciating their expertise.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Why Join Respect Warrnambool?
