The Role The Trainer will work to develop and deliver training to help service providers not trained in domestic and family violence identify and respond appropriately to the signs of domestic and family violence.?? The Trainer will support organisations and businesses to implement best practice when responding to people who use violence and enabling referrals to other appropriate services designed for people who use violence.? The Trainer will work collaboratively with the CFW and MACS team and support the Community Education team with other trainings such as Raise the Bar, Get Fresh with Consent (in-school workshops for students), Safe & Together and bespoke training.?? Salary and Benefits SCHADS Level 5.1 ($49.28p/h) | Full-Time (38 Hours Per Week) | $97377.28 annually 12 month contract with possibility of extension A supportive induction process and in-house training about the meaningful work we do to support our clients through DFV and improve their wellbeing. Salary Packaging up to $15,900 (superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit if any). A supportive and warm team culture and working environment where we help one another out, learn from one another and have a lot of fun and laughs Experience and Qualifications Please note, roles at or above a SCHADS Level 4.1 require completed or working towards tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher in a relevant field. Roles at or above a SCHADS Level 5.1 require completed tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher in a relevant field. This role requires qualifications and relevant experience in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or Counselling.?This role would also benefit from demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of Domestic and Family Violence, and its effect on women, children and the wider community and demonstrated understanding of and experience working within current legislation (Domestic and Family Violence Act 2012).?This role would also benefit from experience in working with people using violence or understanding of frameworks and theories and experience in training and facilitation.
Start Dates This role is available to start from January 6th 2025. We have set start dates for new team members so that they can undertake our supportive induction process with our Practice and Development Lead and Risk & Culture Officer. This process allows new team members to have set time to learn more about our organisation, our practice frameworks and set up all equipment and logins.
