Job Description

As a Domestic Electrician, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch electrical solutions for a variety of projects. The role will primarily involve working on new build smart homes and automation systems, with additional tasks including shop fit-outs and air conditioning installations.

Key Responsibilities

Smart Homes & Automation (70% of the work):
Install, configure, and maintain smart home systems, including lighting, security, climate control, and home automation.

Shop Fit-Outs:
Undertake electrical installations and modifications for commercial fit-outs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications.

Air Conditioning:
Assist with the installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems.

General Electrical Work:
Perform routine electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs in residential settings.

Client Interaction:
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and ensuring their requirements are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to all relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.


Requirements

Qualifications: Fully qualified electrician with relevant licenses and certifications.
Experience: Proven experience in domestic electrical work, with a focus on smart home systems and automation preferred.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, smart home technology, and air conditioning.
Driving License: Valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
