Our Domestic Cleaners provide cleaning services and domestic assistance support to our elderly clients living in their own private homes in the community, enabling them to live safely and independently while improving their quality of life.
This position is also a good introduction into aged care in the community and a stepping stone into a Community Support Worker role if you decide to progress your career in this field.
We have the following permanent part-time opportunity available for reliable Domestic Cleaners to assist our elderly clients living in the community and seeking cleaners that live in and around the Golden Bay to Rockingham area (preference may be given to those that live close to our clients) .
You will ideally be able to work every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8 am to 4 pm .

To be suitable for this role, you must possess: Working knowledge of hygienic cleaning practices and chemicals.
A good level of fitness and the ability to undertake general domestic and housekeeping tasks safely using safe manual handling practices.
Dedicated work ethic and a strong commitment to providing safe and high-quality support services.
Ability to effectively communicate professionally and compassionately with diverse people in various environments.
Customer-focused and able to work without direct supervision in the community in diverse cultural and home environments.
Flexible approach with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
Willing to undertake training as and when required.
Previous experience working in aged care or cleaning services ( desirable ).
A reliable licensed vehicle ( mandatory ).
Current Drivers License.
First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old) or willing to obtain within 2 weeks of commencement.
Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 12 months.
