In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting residents with their daily routines, social interactions, and emotional fulfillment.As a Kitchen Hand, your main responsibilities will include food preparation, ensuring smooth meal services, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment.The shifts fluctuate from Monday to Sunday, featuring various start times spanning from 06:45 AM, 08:00 AM, and 15:30 PM, and concluding between 13:00 PM, 15:30 PM, and 19:30 PM.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinnerAssist in food preparation, portioning, and servingMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas and equipmentAdhere to food safety and hygiene standardsFollow Juniper's Occupational Safety and Health policies Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required: Previous experience in commercial cooking or aged care environmentsFamiliarity with food handling practices and hygiene standardsEffective communication skillsKnowledge of safe chemical handling proceduresStrong organizational and time management abilitiesFull working rights in Australia What's in it for you?
