In this dynamic role, you will connect with your peers across Domain to unlock new capabilities that make a direct impact to Domain's Marketplace Strategy.The Technical Lead works closely with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Designer to establish technical requirements and lead the technical direction of the work. The role involves setting (and continuously improving) technical standards and relevant patterns for software delivery.The Technical Lead ensures the smooth running of the delivery team, focusing on quality and delivery excellence. Provides mentorship to developers on principles and practices, ensuring consistency in approach. Leads by example in building quality in, aligned with product vision and value.This will see you:Execute and deliver on the roadmap in collaboration with Product and DesignDrive work and epic breakdown for effective estimation, capacity planning, and deliveryManage and unblock technical dependencies with other teams where requiredChampion and adopt Engineering best practicesAccountable to the System Health and Tech debt backlog for their respectively owned serviceImprove engineering efficiency for their respective teamAccountable to reporting on delivery metrics for their respective teamMentor and coach software engineers in progressive engineering practicesCollaborate with Principal Engineers and Architects to drive Solution Design for large initiativesWho are you?Deep expertise in TypeScript, ReactExperience with highly trafficked customer-facing websites and/or complex mobile appsOptimizing engineering practices and processesData-informed decision makingExperience with common Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCPImplementing DevOps practices and CI/CDWorking in Agile environmentsMentoring more junior engineersLeading a team of engineersWorking in triads (Product, Design, and Tech)Why join us?We're the kind of place you can make a real impact, with a workplace culture where you can be you.
