Location – Gladstone Remuneration/Benefit - As per the Coal EA About the role The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain documentation required during the planning and execution stage of the work in the depots and to effectively control all documents (drawings, correspondence, specifications, procedures, polices) in accordance with the required standards in an autonomous manner.
This is a maximum term full time role for a 24 month (2 year) period.
You will be responsible for: Work with relevant areas to develop the Document Change Request (DCR) process and to work with compliance to develop documentation processes that are in line with legislative requirements and corporate policy.
Own version control for the processing of change and update of key documents and amendments.
Work with relevant stakeholders to develop safe work instructions, training documents and maintenance documents for use within the maintenance departments.
Develop and implement the Project Document Control Plan.
Monitor and maintain document control processes, including distributing all required project information, maintaining and updating the document control database and ensuring the timely preparation of document control reports as required.
Plan, supervise and record document flow to and from all necessary parties, including management and subcontractors.
Promote document control best practice to internal stakeholders.
Conduct rollingstock business system compliance audits.
Review and write business system process documents.
Coach and mentor others on key aspects of document writing skills and knowledge About you: Skills, Qualifications & Capabilities 3-5 years relevant experience as a document writer Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to function autonomously.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
