At theDepartment for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connectingSouth Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible fordelivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformativetransport and social infrastructure projects, operating andmaintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing ourcity's public transport network.

The Infrastructure Delivery Division delivers transport and socialinfrastructure projects including roads and bridges, rail andmarine, through from point of funding approval, scoping andassessment in procurement, design, delivery, and commissioning.

We are seeking to recruit multiple Document Controllers toprovide accurate and confidential management of documents tosupport the procurement, delivery and handover of road, rail,marine, transport and building projects across InfrastructureDelivery. 

The Opportunity
Our Document Controllers collaborate closely with project teams tomaintain efficient document control frameworks and ensure bestpractice records management. 

Key responsibilities include key system administrator and trainingresponsibilities for information management systems (IMS) andliaising with a range of stakeholders both within and external toDIT. This includes undertaking audits, managing records withprecision, and providing support to project decision-makingprocesses.

We're looking for candidates with experience in information andrecords management systems and understanding of document controlpractices, particularly in an engineering environment. Experiencein managing design packages during project phases will be highlyregarded. Initiative, prioritisation skills, and ability to workacross multiple projects and competing deadlines are essential.

Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to handle highvolumes of work with precision and consistency. Attention todetail, analytical mindset, and familiarity with relevantlegislation and standards will be important, along with strongcommunication skills and a customer-centric approach. 

Successful candidates should also be proficient in the use of MSOffice suite of applications and have demonstrated experiencein the administration, setup and use of information management andcollaboration systems such as TeamBinder, Aconex, I2Cx, Procore andSharePoint.

Special Conditions
The successful candidate will berequired to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior toemployment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transportwhich must be renewed every three years.
Additionalemployment checks may be required relevant to the role beingundertaken as outlined in the role statement.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with someintra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may berequired.

Remuneration
ASO5 - $84,522 to $94,003 per annum
